Sometimes we need some visual reminders or motivation to slow down, and refocus on what it is that we truly want. Maybe afterward you pick up the pace again, but checking to make sure you are pointed in the right direction is always a good idea.
Affirmations
I find myself often inspired by simple bursts of colour, imagery, words, gestures. Simple is key. I don’t always need to (or have the time to) read an entire book or sit through hours of counselling to feel a nudge to make a change or do something differently. Notice I say not always, because sometimes those things are absolutely necessarily. I love those quick moments where something shifts inside…and it’s almost hard to notice what caused the shift. Maybe we are already leaning toward change when we make these seemingly easy transitions or decisions? Hmm. I am not sure.
